[Mono-devel-list] Web service client code does not work with WebProxy

hello all,
I recently filed a bug in bugzilla:

The main jist of the bug is that creating a webproxy object
corresponding to a known working squid proxy and adding it to a
webservice client object does not cause the web service client to
connect through the proxy. This same assembly connects properly to the
proxy under MS .NET.

I spotted some discussion of the WebProxy class  in the changelogs,
but was unable to get a feeling for wether or not they are currently
working. Are there currently any know problems with the WebProxy
object, or any related incompleteness?
