[MonoDevelop] How to enable Widget Properties in monodevelop project?

This seems to be a known issue in the current MD version. You can work
yourself around it by selecting the widget itself explicitly from ther
combo box in the top left corner of the designer window (which displays
the widget hierarchy of the container / Window displayed). Or you can
switch to another widget in the tabs above the designer window. Then the
props window will refresh itself.
