Hi

I can't help but respond to this, even as a very occasional mono on os
x user

It is undoubtably true that you can dig a hole using a tiny spoon made
of paper but that doesn't mean that a mini digger wouldn't make life
easier. When I'm fixing a bug in .net I can investigate every object
and whereas trace code will undoubtably allow me to track errors
having a good debugger makes problem solving a pleasant experience. I
can't see why anyone wouldn't want it.
