[Mono-list] Help on running ASP.net on Apache

Hi,

I was able to run the XSP using the current tarball from the download page 
but I am having trouble installing the mod_mono. I took the mod_mono source 
from cvs but I am getting the same error I'm getting using the mod_mono 
source from the download page. Here's what I've done (after downloading 
mod_mono from cvs):

#./autogen.sh --prefix=/usr --with-apxs=/usr/local/apache2/bin/apxs
#make

I get errors after running the 'make' command. Here are some of error 
messages I'm getting

as a
function
/usr/local/include/mono/metadata/reflection.h:23: declaration of 
`column_sizes'
as array of functions
/usr/local/include/mono/metadata/reflection.h:25: field `next_idx' declared 
as a function
/usr/local/include/mono/metadata/reflection.h:26: confused by earlier 
errors, bailing out
make[1]: *** [mod_mono_old.lo] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/src/mod_mono/src'
make: *** [all-recursive] Error 1

This is exactly the same errors I'm getting when I try to install mod_mono 
from the source I got from download page.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This tarball should have been an RPM. Anyway, read this.

AFAIK, its either you use XSP or Apache + mod_mono.
