[Mono-list] Problem compiling from the CVS

Hi,

I get the following while trying to use the latest monocharge 
(http://www.go-mono.com/daily/monolite-20031025.tar.gz) :

** ERROR **: Error: Assembly 
/home/kgeorge/mono/monolite-20031025/corlib.dll references itself
aborting...
/home/kgeorge/bin/mcs: line 2:  1615 Aborted                 (core dumped)

I've noted from the cvs log of mono/metadata/assembly.c that this check 
has recently been introduced.
Is it a bug or is it a feature ?
