[Mono-dev] Mono executables missing on Win32 / Mono installer

Hi,

It looks as though when Mono is built with Cygwin on Win32 the build is
creating some symlinks for executables (e.g. mono and mcs, perhaps
others) which then don't work under Windows.

Could somebody suggest whether some build option needs to be configured
to support this, or whether it's an issue with the build system which
could/should be patched?

Separately, if I look at the Mono downloads page for Mono 3.4.0
(http://www.go-mono.com/mono-downloads/download.html) it's actually
providing a download for Mono 3.2.3 for Win32 at present.

Could anybody advise if there are instructions on how we go from a build
from the Mono 3.4.0 source tarball to creating a Win32 installer of the
form mono-3.4.0-gtksharp-2.12.11-win32-0.exe etc?

Many thanks,

Alex
