developer, I agree that mono 1.0 should correspond to .net 1.0, 1.1 to 1.1,
etc for compatibility (and marketing) reasons.

Will a .90 Release just not cut it? And for that matter 1.09, etc?

Just a suggestion of course...

I agree completely.  I didn't mean to imply delaying the release, only to
choose the name carefully.
