[Mono-devel-list] mono 1.1.4 installer

i'm getting the following error message: 

mrx:~# monodoc
/opt/monobundle-1.1.4/mono/bin/mono.bin: relocation error: /opt/monobundle-1.1.4/mono/bin/mono.bin: symbol
__libc_stack_end, version GLIBC_2.1 not defined in file ld-linux.so.2 with link time reference

my machine is a linux debian sarge with kernel 2.6.8 running at intel p4.
my distribution uses glibc 2.3.2
i don't get this error with mono 1.0.6.

is there anyway to correct this problem without recompiling from source ???
