Just for your information, I don't know if you are having the same problem
as I did, but I fixed a bug in System.Convert.ChangeType() that broke
gentle.net and I don't think it has made it into a release yet but was
committed to cvs by Duncan Mak.

I'm afraid I can't help with your build problems however.
