Try it yourself? I no longer muck around in cygwin.
I modified Gtk# with to build it with csc and the normal build process
months ago, and this was one of the csc/mcs (minor) incompatibilities I
ran across. Perhaps a newer cygwin has since fixed it (I don't think
the above has anything to do with why it fails).
