See Jamie Briant's VS plugin which saves You from manually editing
Project GUIDs,
so VS can load MT projects. Besides that there are MT dlls or links to
them...

That was what I got from discussion mentioned below - added more productivity...
These days I do tests with linked files how well it behaves.
Though still need mac...
