[MonoTouch] CSProj file size - why now huge ?

Noticed in the last couple of days that MonoDevelop/MT environment slowed to
a crawl and simple actions like loading the project has gone from few
seconds to minutes!

Tracked it down to the .csProj file which used to 712Kb, but first went to
2MB, and today hit 12MB - what's going on ??    are files being bundled into
here as resources (I've got nothing set to build action - resources, only
build action-content) ?
or is it to do with Xcode / storybuilder integration ??
