[MonoTouch] Custom UITabBarItem colours

Hi,

Is there a way to customise selected UITabBarItem colours as shown in the
example (Obj-C) below. I have instantiated a new TabBarController in my
project but could not find any methods nor properties associated with
changing TabBar image masks in MonoTouch?!
