[MonoTouch] print with bluetooth printer

Hi there,

my ipad-app needs to print labels on a label printer.
The app will be used mainly outdoors so the user is carrying a bluetooth
labelprinter
with him.
Most of the samples i found were those based on AirPrint. But i would like
to print directly to the connected bluetooth printer.  
Is there anyone with  some examples/directions how to do this or will 
printer = UIPrintInteractionController.SharedPrintController also work with
bluetooth printers?
