Hi guys,

I'm having a multi language app supporting besides english also german,
french, italian which works nice.
I am using for each language a sperate directory containing the
Localizable.strings file. I'ved added now support for chinese by having a
zh.lproj directory. If I open the respective Localizable.strings in XCode
all looks fine and the chinese characters are shown as expected. However, if
opening the same in monodevelop (I am using 2.6) the characters are not
shown but just scramble instead. I tried playing with encoding options
(UTF8/16) without luck. I also tried with different fonts in the Monodevelop
environment. If building the app and changing the language on the iPAD to
chinese it will remain english. Did anyone experience similar things? Thanks
for any help.

regards Markus
