[mono-android] Linux port and visual designer?

Well there are online versions of the editor. All it generates is XML
so you should be able to use it in your Mono for Android project.

About answering your question, I am not sure someone from the Xamarin
team should be able to answer that. I think the focus is on getting
more important stuff working first.
