Hello,

I have just installed Mint 17 and then installed MonoDevelop following the
instructions here:
http://www.mono-project.com/docs/getting-started/install/linux/#debian-ubuntu-and-derivatives
<http://www.mono-project.com/docs/getting-started/install/linux/#debian-ubuntu-and-derivatives>

The installation of 5.5 completed without error. I can launch MonoDevelop
5.5 and able to build a console application.

However, when I went to generate a Gtk#2 application, the Gtk-sharp,
Gdk-sharp, atk-sharp, glade-sharp, glib-sharp and pango-sharp assemblies are
all flagged as not found. When I went to edit references, they do not appear
in the All and Packages.

I can use GacUtil /l gtk-sharp and found this:
The following assemblies are installed into the GAC:
gtk-sharp, Version=2.12.0.0, Culture=neutral,
PublicKeyToken=35e10195dab3c99f
Number of items = 1

So it is in the Gac. I even change the .Net compilation version to 2.0 and
still did not help.

What has gone wrong? Could it be because the MonoDevelop did not know the
GAC path.

The atk-sharp is in /usr/lib/mono/gac/atk-sharp/2.12.0.0__35e10195dab3c99f.

Can anyone help?

MarL
