[MonoDevelop] CLR/C# versions with Ubuntu 12.10 and MonoDevelop

I believe that Ubuntu probably has Mono 2.10.x, so yes, C# 4.0 is
supported. The wikipedia page
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mono_softwarehas a section on what's new
in each Mono release for more details.

MonoDevelop is just the IDE (compiler is part of Mono), so to say that
MonoDevelop supports C# 4.0 would just mean that it supports syntax
highlighting for any new syntactical features (more or less), which it does.

MonoDevelop 4.0 will support C# 5.0 syntax highlighting and Mono 3.0
(already in public beta) supports C# 5.0 and .NET 4.5.

Hope that helps,

Jeff
