[MonoDevelop] VS import/export

Hello, I hope this is the right forum - if that is not the case I apologise.

I'm quite new to this game - but am MonoDeveloper able to import solutions
from newer VS versions ?

I'm asking because at home I'm living in an all Linux world, but at work
they'd standardized om .NET and VS2012.
