[MonoDevelop] MonoTools.Server - How to compile ?

I need to build a new MonoTools-Server for running under Ubuntu 12.04 LTS.

After downloaded the source monotools-server-2.0.tar.bz2  from
http://mono-project.com/Release_Notes_MonoTools_2.0, and noticed there is
no instructions or help guidelines on how to compile.

QUESTIONS:

1. Can MonoDevelop of Ubuntu able to compile MonoTools.Server or
MonoTools.GuiServer source ?

2. Is there any reference or manual on how to compile 
monotools-server-2.0.tar.bz2 ?

3. Is it 100% workable using MonoToolsVS to remote debug custom built of
MonoTools.Server under Ubuntu 12.04 LTS ?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
