[MonoDevelop] want to work on some refactoring TODOs

Hi Alan,
I've been already told I should look into this branch, but unfortunately I
get a very bizarre error message when trying to build the MonoDevelop
solution (on any branch) saying "Error: The system cannot find the file
specified (MonoDevelop.Gettext)". I probably done something wrong on my
first build.
I would have loved to start working with the new branch, but if I can't
build and therefore manually test it... I should try to ask for help on the
list, but it should be so obvious, bleh, I'm babbling.

Thanks anyway for the advice,
Nieve
