I have successfully installed and using Mono 2.10.8.

I'm now trying to install MonoDevelop 2.8.8.4 on RHEL 6.2 according to the
README. I managed to get past the first hurdle of finding the requirement to
set PKG_CONFIG_PATH. I'm now working on the dependencies.

1. + I've compiled and installed gtk-sharp-2.12.11

2. - I'm now trying to compile monodoc-2.0. I'm encountering the monodoc
error CS0006, cannot find metadata file Mono.GetOptions.

3. + I've successfully compiled gecko-sharp-2.0-0.13.

4. - When I try to compile gtksourceview-sharp-2.0-0.12, I get the error
that it can't find gnome-sharp 2.0. Isn't that the gtk-sharp package I
installed above?

So I need help with the the Mono.GetOptions error and why the
gtksourceview-sharp compile doesn't think gtk-sharp is installed. Hopefully
when all these things are satisfied MonoDevelop will be an easy install.
