[MonoDevelop] How to setup GIT Repository with MonoDevelop 2.6 beta 2?

I am new to using git, and have never used it much outside of command line
for clone and pull operations.

I am trying to use it with the latest MonoDevelop 2.6 beta 2 which has
built-in support for git. So I am using the MonoDevelop Repository
Configuration window and I select type "Git" and give it a name, but from
there not sure what goes where. For example what protocol do I choose, what
is the URL, server, port, path, and user.

I am using a private hosted GIT repository from CodeSpaces.com, and I have
setup the SSH keys on my Mac and on the Site for access.

I am not surer if I choose SSH, GIT, HTTP, or HTTPS as the protocol. I
assume it is SSH, but then not sure why it wants a URL and a Server
shouldn't they be similar and if you provide a URL shouldn't the server be
part of it? What do I put in the other fields, how specific is the
repository URL supposed to be?

In short not sure how to use any of the GUI around the GIT Version Control
in the new MonoDevelop and would like to know if there are any Doc's I can
read on this new functionality? I couldn't find any in MonoDevelop, so if
none exist yet could someone explain it and provide some assistance please?

Thanks!
