[MonoDevelop] Create packages for Linux and install them

Hello, i tried creating a package for Linux (tar.gz | binaries file) i tried
to install it but i can't, having I problems to install it on Linux (and
this package only contains an .exe file under some directories); and i
indicated that the package will be for Linux.
I want to know how to create a package to install an app created with
Monodevelop in Linux.
