2.5.93 is the branch for the 2.6 RC1 release
2.6 is the branch to be used for the final 2.6 release
master is where development happens (and from which 2.7.x unstable releases are made)
If you want to get the latest of the latest (even if it is not considered stable), get it from master.
Otherwise, get it from the 2.6 branch.
