[MonoDevelop] Another Monodevelop GTK# book question

Thanks very much for the detailed reply.  You make a couple of very good
points regarding my issues  -- that being lack of knowledge.  I think I can
pick up some of the concepts outside of monodevelop.  I am going to go
through the GTK# tutorial and I think I am going to get C# in a Nutshell 4.0
(Amazon users gave it 5 stars).
