[MonoDevelop] MonoDevelop does not start on Mint

Hi
It's most likely because mint is shipped with a very outdated mono.
The mono on mint is outdated ... the mint developers didn't want/care to
upgrade to mono 2.6.
I've written in their forums but it didn't do anything.
I recommend using a parallel mono on mint. (If you want I can send you
an automated installation script for setting up a parallel mono
environment on mint)
Regards
Mike
