[MonoDevelop] Help for something like "netstat command"

I'm building a network utility with MonoDevelop and i would like to add something like "netstat command".

All the examples that I found on the web, use the [DlIImport("iphlpapi.dll", ....)] statement, and i belive that its not working on non-windows platoforms.

Can anyone help me to build in monodevelop something like "netstat command" for retrive the same information?
