[MonoDevelop] Failure to find my 2.2.1 assemblies

Nobody apparently saw the question below:

 So I get better control of what I understand .... in
 monodevelop-2.2.1/src/core/MonoDevelop.Core/MonoDevelop.Core.Assemblies
 where is "assembly resolution" accomplished? I.e. i am used to
reading code. Also where in the Core code is the assembly version #
checked?
