[MonoDevelop] Failure to find my 2.2.1 assemblies

So I get better control of what I understand .... in
monodevelop-2.2.1/src/core/MonoDevelop.Core/MonoDevelop.Core.Assemblies$

where is "assembly resultion" accomplished? I.e. i am used to reading code.
