[MonoDevelop] Hex editor as a widget for my application?

Hi,
i've downloaded the sources from the GIT repo, and removed the 
monodevelop.hexeditor folder,
can you explain me a bit in details how to import it as part of my 
existing project? do i have to compile it somehow? as i see it's a 
complete solution.

Sorry if the question is so n00b, but that's what i am :)
