[MonoDevelop] Is debug available in MonoDevelop 2 (Mono 2.4) for Mac OS X?

I downloaded the most recent versions of mono 2.6, monotouch 3.0.12,
monodevelop 2.4 today - along with the latest iPhone SDK 4.0. I am on snow
leopard 10.6.4.
I am also unable to use any RUN / DEBUG features within Mono Develop. If I
click RUN, it begins to compile for a second then I get:

Unhandled Exception: System.ArgumentNullException: Argument cannot be null.
Parameter name: value
  at
MonoTouch.iPhoneSimulatorRemoteClient.DTiPhoneSimulatorSessionConfig.set_SimulatedSystemRoot
(MonoTouch.iPhoneSimulatorRemoteClient.DTiPhoneSimulatorSystemRoot value)
[0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0
  at MonoTouch.Simulator.SimController..ctor (System.String app_path,
System.String sdk_version, System.String device_type, System.String[] args)
[0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0
  at MTouch.Main (System.String[] args) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0

If I click DEBUG, I get "Waiting for debugger to connect on
127.0.0.1.10000...

I am however able to right-click in the solution explorer - either Run with
iPad Simulator / iPhone Simulator will launch the app.

Like always, any help will be much appreciated!
