[MonoDevelop] Monodevelop 2.4 web references

I am using Ubuntu Lucid Lynx which comes with monodevelop 2.2. I upgraded to
2.4 using the badgerports repository.

I have switched versions multiple times to verify that I cannot add an ssl
webservice on monodevelop 2.4 however can add one fine in monodevelop 2.2. I
have verified that in monodevelop 2.4 the WebReferences addin is version 2.4
(if that helps).

Anyone know anything about this? Any possible work arounds?
