[MonoDevelop] Minor problem with 2.2 beta

Hi,
My projects use Cairo. When I open my solution up this dll is red in one
of my project references although  Cairo 1.0.5 is ticked in packages. So
I deselect 1.0.5 and select 2.0.0. Everything compiles and runs ok.
However it seems that this change is not being saved because when I open
monodevelop again I get the same. So I have to keep deselecting 1.0.5
and selecting 2.0.0 each time I load the solution. Funnily enough I have
two other projects in this solution and they seem to be ok and only
needed changing the first time I ran 2.2 beta.
I can live with this but can someone tell me why its happening?
