Thanks Lluis

I had the latest version installed but also had several previous versions. I
didn't receive the error anymore after uninstalling all the previous
versions and reinstall the latest version.

I was building from the source code and did not download the installer from
the preview page and so missed the section for uninstalling the previos
versions of gtk#. Might be an idea to update the Development - Getting
Started page to also include this information.
