Yes, I also encounter similar type of trouble when testing my Gtk# apps on 
WinVista & Win7. What makes my issue slightly harder, is the fact that I am 
also using GtkHTML# (gtkhtml-sharp.dll), which seems not to come along with 
Gtk# (please correct me if this is not true). So I traditionally copy this DLL 
from my Linux machine:

jacek at veteran:~> gacutil -l gtkhtml-sharp
The following assemblies are installed into the GAC:
gtkhtml-sharp, Version=3.16.0.0, Culture=neutral, 
PublicKeyToken=35e10195dab3c99f
Number of items = 1

So: Where can I get an up-to-date DLL from?
