[MonoDevelop] Problem starting MonoDevelop 1.9 on Mac

Hello,

I have installed the latest version of Mono and then I installed MonoDevelop
1.9.  When I go to run MonoDevelop I get to the main window and the loader
splash page says that it is Loading Workbench and it just freezes there. 
Has anyone experienced this?
