[MonoDevelop] monodevelop crash when trying to create a new solution

Hi,
when i start monodevelop i click on "start a new solution" the new solution 
dialog appears i select c# then Gtk#2.0 Project then type the name of the
project
click on forward button and it just freeze nothing happens click cancel and
nothing
try to close and nothing click on forward again and a dialog appears that
says 
"file already exists" cancel or overwrite if i click on cancel or overwrite
it goes away
but still frozen 

please someone help me!!

here my system info:

Ubuntu 9.04
kernel 26.28.-14-generic
gnome 2.26.1
2.0 gib ram
amd x2 dual core
