[MonoDevelop] Difficulty launching MonoDevelop 2.0 on MacOSX 10.4.11

Open /Applications/Utilities/Console.app, hit the Clear button, then
attempt to launch MonoDevelop.  On OS X 10.4, I'm currently getting
this error:

/Users/ellery/Desktop/MonoDevelop.app/Contents/MacOS/monodevelop: line
35: syntax error near unexpected token `"$arg"'
/Users/ellery/Desktop/MonoDevelop.app/Contents/MacOS/monodevelop: line
35: `		MONO_OPTIONS+=("$arg")'

Are you seeing the same thing?  I'm poking around with it right now.
Will let you know if I find/create a bug for it that you can follow.
