[MonoDevelop] Weird Installation on Linux Mint

This could take forever....

When I ran configure for the addins, I was informed that gawk and mcs were
not found. I installed them. The next time, it told me that I had to install
either the Mono or .NET SDK. I searched Synaptic and couldn't find anything
that said "Mono SDK", so I installed everything that looked like it might be
relevant, and the next time running configure was successful.

I then ran configure on GTK#, and was informed that Pango was not found.
What the heck is Pango? I can see lots of Pango-related stuff in Synaptic,
but not Pango itself, and apt-get didn't find it, either.
