[MonoDevelop] Problem loading 'SourceEditor' on initial YUM install

I've recently installed the YUM packages for Mono and MonoDevelop on a CentOS
box. The versions were: Mono - 1.9.1, and MonoDevelop 1.0.3.

On startup of MonoDevelop, I get a problem 'The required addin
'MonoDevelop.SourceEditor,1.0.0' is not installed.'. The solution suggested
on this site was to remove the ~/.config/MonoDevelop directory and let
MonoDevelop rebuild it's registry. This did not work for me.

I eventually traced it to the fact that, while gnome-sharp installs
correctly, it doesn't seem to register itself with the gac. This was
preventing the addin registry from rebuilding successfully.

Anyone getting this error, try manually registering the 'gnome-sharp' dlls
with the gac and rebuild the MonoDevelop addins registry.
