[MonoDevelop] Gtk.Tooltips is obsolete

Why do you get the above warning when I am running GTK# 2.12 ? My understanding is that the tooltip format was changed in this release to allow the ability to use icons etc in the tooltips. I was expecting that this warning would disappear. Is this a setting that I can change to remove this problem ? How do I fix this as some of my projects have a lot of tooltips and in one case due to integration with other projects I end up with over 300 of them - and it makes it almost impossible to determine if there are any 'real' warnings in the project.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Brett Senior.
