AFAIK MD depends on Gtk# 2.8 so I don't see any relation between MD and 
that installer.

Anyway, I'm planning to begin testing MD on Windows, so as to report 
platform-specific bugs and hopefully fix them. I have my Cygwin 
installation ready with all the packages needed (autogen.sh no longer 
complains). My next step is to be able to let the script find the 
command "gmcs", how can I create a gmcs wrapper that calls 
"[myProgramFilesMonoPath]/bin/mono.bat gmcs.exe" in Cygwin?
