I guess it is a popular idea as Lluis already committed some
improvements.  It could still be improved even more by possibly adding a
recent assemblies tab, or maybe hiding the referenced assemblies in a
Gtk.Expander.  I suggest you update and take a look.

There is also the New Project/New File dialogs for the UI masters to
tackle if they want.  But I don't yet have a list of ideas for it.
