[Mono-winforms-list] Bug compiling a resource (*.resx)

I am trying to compile the source of OpenDental (
http://www.open-dent.com/manual/downloads.html
http://www.open-dent.com/manual/downloads.html ). They 
http://www.open-dent.com/manual/clinuxmac.html claim  to have Mono support.
On Windows the program compiles and runs just fine. On Linux (Ubuntu 8.10
with Mono 2.0.1), however, it fails with the following error:

Line=116, Column=5, Type=Error, Priority=Normal, Description=Error: Invalid
ResX input.
Inner exception: A null reference or invalid value was found [GDI+ status:
InvalidParameter]  Line 116, position 5.

I use MonoDevelop 2.0 alpha 2 (1.9.1) with Mono 2.0.1 on Ubuntu 8.10.
