[Mono-winforms-list] Missing winelib.exe.so although wine installed

Winelib based SWF is very old and not supported. Please use the 1.1.4 Mono 
distribution to get the current version of System.Windows.Forms (we called 
Managed.Windows.Forms or MWF), which does not require Wine.

I am a mono newbie and have installed everything including winforms and the 
latest RPM for wine for Fedora Core #3. I can run wine and windows 
applications, but when I run a mono application that uses WinForms, I get a 
missing DLL exception because it cannot find winelib.exe.so. When wine 
installed it created libwine* shared libraries, but no winelib.exe.so.

Is there some configuration for wine I need or do I need to download wine 
soure and compile it locally instead of using RPMs? What am I missing?

Thanks for any help - I realize it is unsupported stuff.
