[Mono-winforms-list] Missing winelib.exe.so although wine installed

I am a mono newbie and have installed everything including winforms and the=
 latest RPM for wine for Fedora Core #3. I can run wine and windows applica=
tions, but when I run a mono application that uses WinForms, I get a missin=
g DLL exception because it cannot find winelib.exe.so. When wine installed =
it created libwine* shared libraries, but no winelib.exe.so.=20

Is there some configuration for wine I need or do I need to download wine s=
oure and compile it locally instead of using RPMs? What am I missing?

Thanks for any help - I realize it is unsupported stuff.
