So far I haven't found an option with VS.net to preserve line endings.
Hopefully we can sort this out so we don't have to keep working with
double-spaced source code.

I just checked in a few changes to some of the files you listed.
Amazingly, I checked them in about 30 seconds before getting your email.
They are only small changes, so you should have no trouble merging.
