[Mono-osx] The linker does not show up.

All,

I am just taking a look at monomac for potential use in a project and would like to check out the executable size improvements provided by making use of the linker. Unfortunately though the linker is not showing up in my copy of monodevelop. I am obviously doing something incorrect but it would be helpful if I could be pointed in the right direction as to how to resolve it's absence. Here is a screenshot of the dialog where the Linker should appear:
