[Mono-osx] Mac OS X and 64bit support

As far as I understand some UI components seem to be dependent on Carbon and
hence cannot do 64bit.

If I dont use Mono to show any UI is it possible to 64bit ?

Are there any plans to support 64bit on Mac OS X ?
